Nutritional Medicine

Nutritional Medicine is based on the principle that nutrients, including essential micronutrients, are required
for the proper functioning of all the biochemical processes on which our bodies depend.

When we treat symptoms or illness, it’s imperative to take a deeper look to determine the underlying cause, which we find is often associated with nutritional and environmental factors.

Personalized Health Plan

At Link Medical, we provide patient-specific plans based on your individual needs. Each personalized health plan starts with a thorough evaluation to determine your current state of health. Using both Eastern and Western approaches, we’ll design a personalized plan to optimize your health goals and give you back the healthy and active lifestyle that you’re seeking.

We use a variety of tools, including:

  • Dietary and lifestyle improvements
  • Food intolerance testing
  • Hormone balancing
  • IV therapy
  • Vitamin injection therapy
  • Nutritional supplements

Food Intolerances

Personalization is a new paradigm in health and medicine. By knowing the role that food plays in the body, we’re able to substantially improve and often prevent various clinical symptoms and conditions. Many food sensitivity symptoms are difficult to diagnose since they can be delayed and limited to digestive problems. If left untreated, food sensitivities can lead to chronic inflammatory health issues and pain. By identifying the specific foods and substances that trigger chronic inflammation in your body, we can develop a nutrition plan that is personalized for you with benefits that can be both seen and felt.

Hormone Balancing

Because everyone is different, think of “bioidentical” hormones in terms of a well. At the bottom of the well, you have water and a pump to get that water. If the well runs dry, then one must find another source of water — hormone replacement. However, if the well has water, but the pump is broken, then it is not about replacing hormones, it’s about finding ways to fix the pump. This is what sets us apart from others: knowing when to fix the pump with herbal support, and when and how to replace hormones when the well is dry. Our testing methods at LINK provide a thorough assessment of hormone levels and hormone function.

IV Therapy

Intravenous (IV) therapy is a powerful treatment option and can deliver much needed vitamins, minerals, and nutrients directly into a patients’ circulatory system for quick absorption into the body. It bypasses the intestinal tract, which is often not functioning well in those who have been symptomatic for a long time, and delivers nutrients directly to the cells where they are needed most.

At LINK, we offer a wide variety of IV therapies, including those commonly used to treat nutritional deficiencies, introduce potent antioxidants into the body, rid the body of harmful toxins, and boost immune function. Many of our patients have found it to be extremely powerful, often succeeding where other treatment methods have failed.

Vitamin Injection Therapy

Vitamin Injection Therapy is quicker and longer lasting than oral supplementation since it delivers nutrients, vitamins, and minerals directly into your body, by-passing the gut and the liver. Injection therapy is extremely effective for weight loss, detoxification, hormone balancing, allergies and sinus congestion, acne, and cholesterol reduction. You can choose from our specialized formulas, as well as individualized combinations formulated just for you.

Supplementation

At Link, we won’t recommend any supplementation without thoroughly reviewing your unique history, primary health concerns, and the data we mine from the labwork and metabolic profiles we do with each patient. This data provides a valuable fingerprint for each patient that helps us design a unique treatment program, including supplements, that is specific to the needs of the patient based on hard science.
