Dr. Adams graduated cum laude from the Southern California University of Health Sciences (SCUHS) with a Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Adams attended the University of California at Irvine for his undergraduate education where he focused on the relationship between the mind and body for his degree is cognitive sciences. Before attending SCUHS, he managed a private speed and conditioning camp, where he worked extensively with biomechanics and running style of young athletes in order to achieve maximum speed and to improve their body control.
Dr. Adams performed his clinical rotations at California State University, Fullerton and University of California at Irvine University Health Centers as a chiropractic intern. As an intern, he was responsible for patient management and treatment plans of all students and student athletes. He worked on a variety of cases from muscular and ligamentous sprain/strains, postural faults, headaches, migraines, as well as more advanced cases of myelopathy, neuropathy, and infectious co-morbidities, with successful treatment in nearly all students.
Since January 2015, Dr. Adams has worked closely with LINK owner, Dr. Jason Amstutz, to learn some of the basics of the SOMA therapy and training methodology. Specifically applying Myofascial Stretching and ELDOA to alter the Tensegrity model, which has shown over and over again to be the way to correct the underlying dysfunction. Dr. Adams understands that the pelvis is the keystone to all dysfunction of the body. He is trained to use chiropractic manipulation, myofascial release, advanced taping and other fasciae specific treatment protocols to treat musculoskeletal dysfunction and to assist patients in obtaining permanent relief from their symptoms.
